(Parenting – Adoption – Abortion)
Facing an unplanned pregnancy can be difficult because sometimes things are complicated. The good news is that you are not alone. We are here to help you understand all your pregnancy options. It is important that you make an informed decision.
If you believe you may be pregnant, contact us or come into the clinic for a free pregnancy test. We have urine-based tests and serum (blood) based tests that are laboratory-rated and 99% accurate.
Our lab-certified pregnancy tests will be administered by nurses, whenever possible. If you request, you will be provided with a written verification. To confirm a viable intrauterine pregnancy a limited obstetrical ultrasound scan will be offered.
We are available to discuss your pregnancy options and answer any questions you may have. You will be given the opportunity to explore the options of abortion, adoption, and parenting, and then identify which choice is best for you.
All services are free of charge.

Becoming a parent can feel overwhelming, even for those who planned to become pregnant. When an unexpected pregnancy happens it can get you thinking about the changes and challenges that you may face.
Our trained staff are here to assist you. We help new parents (both mom and dad) assess their current situation and imagine what type of parent they would hope to be.
Foundations for Families education program is designed to help you navigate through the transition from pregnancy to parenting, and help you become the parent you hope to be.
Adoption
If you feel like raising a child is something you are not ready for adoption may be the option for you. Many people have an idea of what adoption is about but a lot has change. You have lots of choices with adoption. Will it be open, semi-open, or closed? Will it be private or will you use an agency?
You can even choose the family! Today there are adoption plans in which you can know your child and be a part of your child’s life. You can have the peace of knowing your child is loved and cared for by the couple you choose. If you are looking for more information about the adoption process, we can help you understand your adoption options.
Abortion
If you are considering an abortion, Pacific Pregnancy Clinic is here to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment, and the space to reflect on the options you are considering.
We do not refer for or provide abortion services. Instead, we are here to give you support as you walk through the decision-making process.
it is important to make an informed decision. There are different abortion procedures based on how far along you are. We take the time to educate on the methods of abortion available to you, as well as any risks associated with the procedure.
How can we help?
Step 1 is to find out for sure that you are pregnant. Even if you had a positive home test, we verify if you are pregnant.
Step 2 would be to receive a limited obstetrical ultrasound scan, it is at no cost. The ultrasound scan will determine viability (heartbeat), placement in the uterus, and gestational age.
Step 3 is to learn about all of your pregnancy options and understanding the different abortion procedures, what parenting would be like for you, or how to make an adoption plan.
The two primary methods of abortion are:
- Medical Abortion: Uses RU-486 (commonly referred to as the abortion pill) or other types of chemical to terminate an early pregnancy. This method can be performed until you are up to 10 weeks pregnant. Medical abortion may require up to 3 office visits. The procedure is unsuccessful approximately 5-10% of the time requiring an additional surgical abortion to complete the termination.
If you have taken the first pill (mifepristone) in the RU-486 regimen, but not the second pill (misoprostol), the process may be reversible. If you are interested in reversing the process contact Abortion Pill Rescue at 877.558.0333 or contact online at abortionpillreversal.com
- Surgical Abortion: This is a procedure in which surgical instruments are used to empty the uterus, ending a pregnancy. There are different types of surgical procedures depending on how far into your pregnancy you are and like all surgical procedures there are certain health risks to consider.
Pacific Pregnancy Clinic offers pre-abortion screening. This is completed through lab grade pregnancy testing and ultrasound. (Statistics show that one in five pregnancies will end in a natural miscarriage.) A limited obstetrical ultrasound is performed to confirm a pregnancy, determine location of pregnancy (intrauterine/ectopic), detect fetal heartbeat, fetal age, and determine due date.
It’s Your Choice
Many people may give you their opinion on what you should do. But this is YOUR choice. Our medical staff and Decision Coaches will give you the guidance and support you need to make an informed decision. It is your decision. No one can make it for you, even if you are a minor.
As with any major decision, you will want to gather as many facts as possible before making your final choice.
